Gaurav Gupta exhibits wedding couture in London, UK before US tour
14 June saw designer Gaurav Gupta team up for yet another international collaboration! Before heading for the US tour, Gaurav joined hands with UK-based Indian traditionalwear retailer Aashni & Co. for an exclusive bridalwear couture show in London, UK.
There couldn’t have been a better timing than now for the show as it is wedding season in England. Staged at the London’s Mayfair district, the show allowed easy access to UK shoppers to the brand’s opulent and eclectic occasionwear.
After the success of the UK show, Gaurav is all set to start his US tour, beginning with Chicago, US for the presentation of his couture collection on 21 and 22 June at Devon Avenue. The event will be organised in collaboration with Raaz Couture by Ghazala Khan. Los Angeles’ Sheraton Cerritos Hotel will be the venue for his next show on 25 June followed by an event in New York at the historic Roosevelt Hotel on 29 June.
The US tour aims at increasing the brand’s reach to a wider international audience and giving the US shoppers the chance to explore Gaurav’s couture in person.
Adding to this international expansion drive, Gaurav recently held a pop-up shopping event in Hong Kong on 14 May at Rosewood. In India, the brand is currently finishing up its end of season sales at its Kala Ghoda flagship store in Mumbai and Mehrauli store in New Delhi.
